The system of writing and reading for the blind, known as the Braille alphabet, was invented by Louis Braille in the 1830s.

A workshop titled The Museum Item as Stimulation for Learning was held at the Typhlological Museum as part of the research of the broader subject of Object Base Learning.

The exhibition was an exceptional opportunity for students to get to know reproduction as a type of photography in a museum, exhibition environment and to try to reproduce the original photographs, paintings, and sculptures by Lupino in real conditions.

In a fun and educational way, through play, first graders of the Tituš Brezovački Elementary School learned about the Typhlological Museum, Braille, the white cane, and the need for detailed descriptions for the blind and the visually impaired.
