Museum at the Library workshop, 21 April, 2016
At the Children's Department of the Vladimir Nazor library in Špansko, the Dot, Dot – Here Comes Braille! Workshop was held on 21 April, 2016. In a fun and educational way, through play, first graders of the Tituš Brezovački Elementary School learned about the Typhlological Museum, Braille, the white cane, and the need for detailed descriptions for the blind and the visually impaired. The workshop is part of the program called the Museum Suitcase, with which the Typhlological Museum has already visited towns and locations outside Zagreb. The aim of the Museum Suitcase is to foster understanding among people, acceptance, and ethical behaviour, as well as to grow awareness about people with disabilities.
